How Ice Ages Happen? How does Sunlight affect Earth? What is The Milankovitch Cycle? How long will it be until the next Ice age?

How Ice Ages Happen? How does Sunlight affect Earth? What is The Milankovitch Cycle? How long will it be until the next Ice age?

Over Earth's long history, there have been dramatic changes to our climate, The ice ages have come and gone, and what's surprising is that there's a strong pattern that explains why Ice Ages happen when they do, this is called the Milankovitch cycle, named after Milutin Milankovitch, his theory explains how the earth's climate changes over hundreds of thousands of years, his theory is based on two key ideas:

First, the Earth's climate is strongly affected by how much sunlight the northern latitudes receive during the summer, Second, this amount of sunlight varies based on changes in the Earth's orbit and rotation.

How Ice Ages Happen? How does Sunlight affect Earth? What is The Milankovitch Cycle? How long will it be until the next Ice age?

Why are the northern latitudes so important? It's because of ice, when sunlight hits the ground, most of the energy is absorbed as heat, but if the ground is covered in ice, most of the light reflects away because ice is white, which creates a positive feedback loop, Ice forms when it's cold, but ice also reflects light, making it colder which forms more ice, so ice is really important for climate, the northern and southern hemispheres both contain lots of ice, but there's more ice in the north because there's more land, land has a lower heat capacity than water which means that water doesn't change temperature as easily as land does this is why coastal regions are generally milder, and why ice forms more easily on land, just look at the difference between the northern and southern hemispheres, in the south, there are ice caps that grow during its winter but not nearly as much as they do in the north, during the winter the land above the Arctic Circle is covered in darkness experiencing twilight 24 hours a day, it's very cold and lots of ice forms during the winter, and this is true no matter what's going on with Earth's orbit, the key variable here is how much ice melts during the summer, this depends on how much sunlight there is during the summer, now you might think, that this doesn't change, but it does.

How Ice Ages Happen? How does Sunlight affect Earth? What is The Milankovitch Cycle? How long will it be until the next Ice age?

Milankovic showed that over hundreds of thousands of years, the amount of summer sunlight can shift plus or minus 15%, which can bring ice ages, this can end ice ages, how can the amount of summer sunlight be change? First, the distance from the earth to the Sun is changing, and second, the earth's tilt is changing, the Earth's axis is currently tilted at 23.5 degrees, but this changes, as other objects influence the earth gravitationally nudging its tilt up and down, every 41,000 years, it cycles up and down, when the earth is more tilted there's more sunlight during the summer, more summer sunlight means that more of our ice melts away, with less ice on the ground less light is reflected away giving us a warmer climate, the earth is unusual in that its tilt doesn't change very much, earth has a very large moon which stabilizes its tilt.

Mars has two tiny moons and so its tilt changes much more dramatically, the next effect is the distance from the earth to the Sun, the Earth's orbit is not a circle it's an ellipse, every fourth of July, we celebrate aphelion: the day that the earth is farthest from the sun, then in January the earth moves closest to the Sun, now the planets Jupiter and Saturn both nudge the earth causing its orbit to shift slightly becoming either more oval or more circular, this happens over 100,000 years, this effect is wildly exaggerated in this diagram, It actually looks more like this, you can barely even see that the distance to the Sun is changing, but this subtle change has important consequences for our climate.

How Ice Ages Happen? How does Sunlight affect Earth? What is The Milankovitch Cycle? How long will it be until the next Ice age?

Earth as a whole receives 6% more sunlight during January than it does in July, the seasons change because the North Pole sometimes tilts towards the Sun and sometimes tilts away, the change in the distance to the Sun, works against the change in the seasons, this moderates the seasons in the North since the earth is the farthest away in July, but this was not always true, the Earth's axis is moving in a circle, it's spinning like atop, this is called precession, in fact, and what this means is that 13,000 years ago the tilt of the earth was reversed, when the earth was closest to the Sun, it was summer in the North, the distance change didn't oppose the seasons, it amplified seasons making them more extreme, now warmer summer means more melting, more melting means less reflection which means the climate as a whole is warmer, the amount of summer sunlight is affected by three long-term cycles:

How Ice Ages Happen? How does Sunlight affect Earth? What is The Milankovitch Cycle? How long will it be until the next Ice age?

One changes the tilt, one makes our orbit more circular or more oval, and one changes how the distance to the Sun matches with the changing of the seasons, these three cycles powerfully impact our climate, scientists have measured the history of our climate using ice cores, now Earth's climate is complicated, you can't just reduce it to a single input but the Milankovitch cycles have played a key role in our climate for hundreds of thousands of years, for more astronomical.

How Short Your Life REALLY Is? The time is real wealth, Utilization of Time and Get What you want in life! Why time is very important in life?

How Short Your Life REALLY Is?  The time is real wealth, Utilization of Time and Get What you want in life! Why time is very important in life?

When people say, they usually mean what they want to do in life, whether that be their career or relationships or entertainment? But I've been thinking differently, of course, I've been thinking about those things but, I've also been thinking about how much of your life is yours how much of your life is being lived to its full potential? Are you living? Or are you just existing? On average, you're gonna get about 79 years on this big rock called earth If you live in Monaco, it's closer to 90, If you live in Chad, you'll be lucky to get 50 Regardless, we don't get 79 years of freedom, we have responsibilities and things that we can't ignore most importantly our bodies; Assuming you sleep 8 hours a night on average, about a third of your life over 26 years is gonna be spent sleeping, we're down from 79 To 53 but, it doesn't stop there, Chances are, you're going to or have gone to school, in the United States You'll go for at least 12 years 8 hours a day 5 days a week for 36 weeks a year, this amounts to 17,280 hours spent just inside the school building, but wait, we also have to factor in homework and out-of-school activities among other things, so this is more like22,000 to 25,000 hours or about 3 years of your life if you go to college or University afterward make it 5 years instead we're down to 48 years,

well, all this schooling and money you've spent getting a degree has to be put to some use right? Chances are you'll try and get a job with the field of whatever it is your degree is in, it'll probably be a full-time job, so you'll be working 40 hours weeks pretty regularly, if not more than that let's say you get two weeks of vacation per year, the average person works for about 40 to 50 years of their life, so we'll just go with the average and say 45, over your entire life you'll work on average about 90,000 hours or about 10 years of your life, we have 38 years left wait, depending on where you live your commute to work will vary, you might drive your self you might walk you might use an Uber or a taxi, regardless your commute to and from work on average takes about one and a half hours a day, adding this up over your entire working career. It amounts to 17,500 to 20 hours, or about two years of your life.36 years left, all of this work and studying really builds up an appetite, so you should probably spend some time eating, on an average day we spend about 70 minutes just eating food to survive, in your 79 years of life you'll spend about 32,000 hours just eating, or about 4 years of your life, down to 32, well after you're done eating you have to clean up and maybe do some chores around the house, on average, you spend about one hour a day doing tasks
just around your house cleaning up after you eat washing dishes, doing laundry, showering and plenty of other stuff this amounts to nearly 29,000 hours throughout your life or about three years,
https://mharoonpasha.blogspot.com/2022/01/how-short-your-life-really-is-the-time-is-really-wealth-utilization-of-time-and-get-what-you-want-in-life.html

29 years left, eventually, all of that food and water has to leave your body somehow you'll spend about three months of your life just sitting on the restroom of course, we also waste time, and we do it pretty well, over the course of our lifetimes we'll spend about 115,000 hours on our phones, or about 13 years, this of course is just your phone, this doesn't include you watching TV, you playing games among other things,16 years left, assuming you can afford to retire at the average age of 62 you'll spend the rest of your life living the luxuries of retirement if you can still function properly, over 50% of retired people over the age of 65 have some sort of disability with 15% of those people having three or more chances are if you are one of these people you'll be in and out of medical care pretty often, so those final 16 years of freedom you have It's a coin flip, that doesn't exactly entail freedom so overall you have one year in your 79 years life to really and truly do what you want to do but despite the age you might be, young or old you may be nearing the end of your time with some of the most important people in your life, for example, while you're young and in school from the ages of 1 to 18 you'll most likely be spending nearly every day in the presence of your parents after you finish your schooling,
assuming your parents are in their mid 40s will say they have about 30 years left in their life, the real world starts to set in, your job, you're possible relationships, your important things to do in life take priority, eventually, if you leave your hometown, you'll only be seeing your parents around holidays and special occasions, maybe 10 days a year, so 300 days left with the people who brought you into the world, whereas before you would see them almost every single day, you have already spent 95% of the time that you will ever spend with your parents in the first 18 years of your life, and now you only have the remaining 5% for the rest of your life, at the end of the day there's only one thing that matters and that's your own happiness, well many people don't realize that they do so many things in life just to try and succeed as opposed to fulfilling a purpose, they work a job they hate for 40 years just to make that extra$30,000 a year, so they can afford a car that they only drive to work, it's temporary happiness, not genuine happiness, people who are school to become a doctor because their mom or their dad or somebody else told them to not because they actually want to, I really hope that every single person gets insanely rich and famous,

https://mharoonpasha.blogspot.com/2022/01/how-short-your-life-really-is-the-time-is-really-wealth-utilization-of-time-and-get-what-you-want-in-life.html

so, they could finally realize, that this isn't the point of life, the point is to be happy with what you're doing while you're doing it, sure the 45 working years or however long you're working is going to be hard to get past, but what if you don't hate waking up every day to go to work? What if your work is your happiness? You see life isn't a straight path, you can't map it out perfectly one-to-one, it just doesn't work like that, we spend every day planning on what we're going to do the next instead of just taking in the day for what it is, sure, we have to eat, duh but what if we spend that time eating with friends or family or just people who make your life better? Your commute to work might be long and tedious sometimes but what if you spend that time listening to podcasts or carpooling with coworkers and friends the 13 years we waste on our phones might seem useless, but what if we use that time to build the business you've always wanted to or build the brand you've always wanted to talk to people about the random ideas you get you'll bring so much value to people that you never even thought was possible let's say you take care of yourself and regularly work out and eat decently well your chances of being healthy later in life is much more likely, and you'll have much more free time to master the things that you really want whether that be a skill or just relationships with others no matter what you or I or any person on this planet does time doesn't stop for anyone time is the one thing you cannot get back if you lose a lot of money, it's fine you can get more, if your friend decides to turn their back on you, it's fine there are millions of people out there in the same situation, but time you can't get it back once it's gone, it's gone, how many days have you spent doing the same mundane tasks that you hate and more importantly when is it going to end? Life is about choices every choice you've ever made that you only have one life at least in this Universe, why not make your own decisions? So many people live life predicated on somebody else's opinion, which is dumb people have so many barriers in life, but they aren't really about money, they aren't about time they aren't about how you look it's about opinions, other people's opinions, probably about 90% of people are unhappy because they value someone else's opinion more than their own when you're old and unable to do the

things that you could have when you're younger you'll regret and regret hurts more than any breakup failure or anything else ever could life doesn't have to suck you don't have to regret everything, that FOMO or fear of missing out is a poison instead of living trying to mimic people you see on Instagram or YouTube or social media just live based on your terms, instead of just observing and living passively, really start to think about what you do with your time does that mean to call your boss and tell him you quit? No, does that mean dropping out of school tomorrow? Not at all it means is to truly decide what you want in life and put yourself in the right direction, it's not gonna happen overnight, that's not the point, there would be no journey then, as clit-ch, as it sounds, your 79 years journey here is very short, sure, It's technically the longest thing you'll ever do, but the Universe is 13.8 billion years old, if the universe's history was condensed down into 24 hours, the world as we know it with cars and airplanes and civilization as we know it would only come into existence in the very last second, block out any negativity in your life, and once you can truly realize, that the only opinion that matters is your own, life can get pretty clear, and the noises inside your head get pretty quiet.

How to reset our behavior? Which is the correct behavior? How to reduce anxiety, depression, and physical pain- Dr. Anna Lembke

How to reset our behavior? Which is the correct behavior? How to reduce anxiety, depression, and physical pain- Dr. Anna Lembke

The richest countries in the world are the countries that have the most suicide, anxiety, depression, and physical pain; the more we have a good life, lots of food, lots of fun stuff, and lots of medicines, to protect us from illness and pain, we've clearly reached some kind of tipping point we're now essentially more miserable than ever and the question is why?

The Social Dilemma! Your solution to this modern problem, and it's a modern problem that we all have is to one of the most findings in Neuroscience in the last hundred years is that pleasure and pain are co-located by which, that the same parts of the brain that process pleasure also process pain, and they work like opposite sides of the balance so when we do something that's pleasurable or reinforcing or rewarding that balance tips to the side of pleasure when we experience something painful like cutting our finger it tips to the side of pain but one of the overarching rules governing this balance is that it wants to remain level it doesn't want to be tipped for very long either to pleasure or pain and the brain will work very hard to restore a level balance or what neuroscientists call homeostasis it's really a biological imperative not just in our own physiologic symptoms but in the universe to go to homeostasis and that any deviation from neutrality is actually a form of stress in fact biologists define stress as a deviation in either direction and that's really the key the problem with modern life and one of the main problems with modern life is that we have too many pleasurable substances and behaviors and that is actually stressing us out it's literally stressful.

How to reset our behavior? Which is the correct behavior? How to reduce anxiety, depression, and physical pain- Dr. Anna Lembke

So, when we do something just obviously pleasurable like having a beer or playing a video game or eating a piece of chocolate it depends on who you are because people are different but in general those things are pleasurable to many people what we do is we get a little tilt to the pleasure side, and we get the release of dopamine in our brains reward pathway which is this evolutionarily phylogenetically conserved very old part of the brain that's been unchanged in our brains for just millennia and is also identical in other species all the way down to the lizard which is why it's sometimes called the lizard brain, our evolution meant that we've piled a bunch of other layers on top but that part is exactly the same as it's always been, and it's the part that gets us again to approach pleasure and avoid pain but here's really the key the way that the brain restores a level balance or homeostasis after this deviation to the pleasure side is to not just bring it level again but tilt it in equal and opposite amount to the side of pain and that's called the opponent process reaction and sort of thing that is these little gremlins that represent neuro
adaptation hopping on the pain side of the balance, but they like it on the balance, so they stay on until it's tipped and equal and opposite amount, that moment of wanting just one more video game, another beer another piece of chocolate now if we wait a little because it's a powerful physiologic drive to reach for more if we wait the gremlins hop off that feeling passes and homeostasis is restored, and we want homeostasis to be restored it's really important because it's fundamental to the resilience of this system because when the system is at baseline homeostasis it's sensitive right it senses new pleasures it's aware of potential dangers and painful things, so we know to avoid them but let's look at what happens if we instead of waiting for those gremlins to hop off instead immediately reach for another beer another piece of chocolate another video game another major rule of this balance is that with repeated exposure to the same or similar stimuli that initial response gets weaker and shorter, and the after response gets stronger and longer so, that as sort of Arnold Schwarzenegger type gremlin hopping on the pain side to bring it balance again, so we need stronger gremlins right and essentially what's happening in the brain.

These Neuro adaptation gremlins is that we're down regulating our own dopamine transmission we're taking our dopamine receptors that are on the outside of our Neurons, and we're resorting them into the Neuron all of which is a way to accommodate this huge increased bolus in dopamine but again what ends up happening is now that opponent process reaction is stronger and longer, so we go from shorter and weaker to stronger and longer on the pain side of the balance and that is the fundamental sort of paradox or vicious cycle that we get into especially when we're living in a world in which we have nearly universal ubiquitous access to highly potent highly reinforcing drugs and behaviors which don't just release a little of dopamine but a whole huge bolus, and we're all surrounded by them all the time every day and over time what that means is that we're bombarding our dopamine reward pathway with way more dopamine than our primitive brains can handle, and the result is that we end up with enough gremlins on the pain side of the balance to fill this whole room, and they are now camped out there and that's called Allostasis, so we've gone from Homeostasis to allostasis and allostasis is where our body has to accommodate and work very hard to try to restore Homeostasis.

If it's unable to do that using the normal mechanisms it essentially changes our set point, so now we've got those gremlins camped out there they're not leaving even when we wait a while they're camped out there our balance it's easier to tip it to the side of pain, and it's really hard now to experience pleasure and when we're not using we're in a state of anxiety universal symptoms of withdrawal from any addictive substance anxiety irritability insomnia dysphoria and craving for our drug this is the fundamental problem if you look at rates of depression and anxiety all over the world today they are going up skyrocketing suicide rates too also physical pain the richest countries in the world are the countries that have the most suicide anxiety depression and physical pain and this is by different measures many survey measures many types of studies, so clearly we have something very strange going on here where the more we have of the kinds of you know ideal things that we think would make a good life right lots of food lots of fun stuff lots of medicines to protect us from you know illness and pain we've clearly reached some kind of tipping point we're now essentially more miserable than ever and the question is why, that the pleasure pain balance explains that because our primitive brains were not wired for an easy hyper convenient world we are suffering as a result of all of this access to these feel good things the first thing that we need to do is to cut out all of these feel-good substances and behaviors at least for long enough for essentially dopamine fasting right and whatever your source of dopamine is to cut it out for long enough now in clinical experience, have patients who come in seeking help for anxiety depression insomnia and the first thing that will typically do is to have them cut out their feel good drugs and behaviors we are hardwired to approach pleasure and avoid pain and that's really at the heart of our dopamine reward system dopamine is not just about the reward it's also about the wanting and the motivation, and its relative dopamine, so it's whether our dopamine is above or below tonic baseline that really is at the heart of this motivational cycle.

Feeling Is The Secret! How To Visualize? How to Use Imagination? What is the power of Imagination? Neville Goddard -

Feeling Is The Secret! How to Use Imagination? What is the power of Imagination? Neville Goddard -

All things exist in the human imagination and everything you see as an objective reality was produced by imagining, think of one thing, just think of one thing, that would simply deny it, you can't think of one thing, so you go to the moon, you first had to imagine it, had to imagine everything concerning the machine that took you to the moon, everything in the world first has to be imagined and then executed the intelligence to do it will come, but you take the blueprint first, and conceive it, and dwell in it as though it were true, and no power on earth can stop it from becoming so, but tonight if you're here for the first time you want something practical you apply what I've told you first have an objective, you must have an objective you can't say "well I don't know what I want"  ask yourself what would I like of life?

Don't be ashamed to name it, what would I like of life? Try to get some objective, that is the way to success, I appropriated subjectively, how do I appropriate a state subjectively? Suppose now this very moment, I wanted an ordinary baseball, but there isn't a baseball in the room, but I want one, I would assume that I am holding a baseball in my hand until I could feel it, you think you can't feel it? Well now try to feel what it would be like if you held a baseball, now to prove that you have held it, see what it feels like, the difference, a tennis ball, see any difference? A golf ball, see any difference? A piece of silk, do you feel any difference? If you can distinguish between these many objects though they are subjective, then they must exist somewhere, if you can separate them in your mind's eye and distinguish between these objects, I can begin to feel, begin to sense, begin to smell a rose, well a rose doesn't smell or doesn't have the odor of another flower, I can detect the rose, now a lily an Easter lily, I can detect that, what does it do? Well I'm going to get them, someone will see of Neville and send him a flower, and it's going to be the flower that I'm going to feel touch, and smell, it works that way.

Money has an odor, it is unlike any odor in the world it's more fragrant to the miser than the most marvelous perfume in the world He can tell if you put a moneybag to his face just like putting roses to mine he loves it he can smell money, he can feel it, money has a distinct feel about it, put a twenty-dollar bill in your hand and asked you to feel it, and then put another piece of paper in your hand, and you can tell the difference, there's a difference, there is an odor to it, all this is part of the inner man, that all things are possible to him, try it before you condemn it, try it, and if you have the evidence to support my claim, well then it doesn't matter what the world will tell you if he laughs at you; So what? So they laughed at everyone who had an idea that seemed a little off-center, always laughed at them, they laughed at the idea of going to the moon, well now it's an accomplished fact, they are still those who won't believe it happened because they don't want to believe that ever happened, some said you couldn't go down and live underwater, now we have a submarine, there are still those who won't believe it, you can present it with all the facts in the world, and they won't believe it, so I tell you, try it first and if it proves itself in performance, it doesn't matter what the whole vast world think; So take a goal, make it a lovely goal, either for yourself or another, for any time that you exercise your imagination lovingly on behalf of another, you are mediating God to that other, so bring a friend before your mind's eye, representing him to yourself, as the man or the woman that you would like them to be, and don't tell them, ask for no praise, just assume that they're talking to you, and telling you the most marvelous news about themselves, and you congratulate them on that good news, and your way, believe in the reality of that imaginal act, they may happen tomorrow, it may happen a day after, or a week later, or a month later, it has its appointed hour, and it is rising, and it's going to flower, so don't be concerned, leave it alone, and it will come to pass.

Feeling Is The Secret! How to Use Imagination? What is the power of Imagination? Neville Goddard -

The feeling is the secret, I catch the mood, the feeling that would be mine if, I was, what I want to be, I don't have to touch something, I can if I want to, but it's the mood, I'm speaking of, what would the feeling be like if she were well? If she were this, and then you catch it, just as though it is true, you always go to the end, and the end is where you begin, we are always imagining ahead of our evidence, so go to the end, and feel the end, and then dwell in that end, even though reason denies it, and your senses deny it, you turn your back upon the doubters, that is your senses and what reason dictates, that's the hell, or the devil, or Satan in the world, that's the doubter, so you turn your back upon it, and then you walk as though things were as you want them to be, and living in that assumption, it slowly hardens into fact, even though at the moment of the assumption it was denied by reason, an assumption though false, or if persisted in will harden into fact, so you learn to assume and learn to persist in the assumption, and it will come to pass.

An enduring myth says we use only 10% of our brain, the other 90% standing idly by for spare capacity, Hucksters promised to unlock that hidden potential with methods "based on neuroscience," but all they unlock is your wallet.

Two-thirds of the public and nearly half of the science teachers mistakenly believe the 10% myth, in the 1890s, William James, the father of American psychology, said, "Most of us do not meet our mental potential," James meant this as a challenge, not an indictment of scant brain usage, but the misunderstanding stuck, also, scientists couldn't figure out the purpose of our massive frontal lobes in broad areas of the parietal lobe for a long time, The damage didn't cause motor or sensory deficits, so authorities concluded they didn't do anything, for decades, these parts were called silent areas, their function elusive, we've since learned that they underscore, executive, and integrative ability, without which, we would hardly be human, they are crucial to abstract reasoning, planning, weighing decisions, and flexibly adapting to circumstances, the idea that 9/10 of your brain sits idly by in your skull looks silly when we calculate how the brain uses energy.

Rodent and canine brains consume 5% of total body energy, monkey brains use 10%, and an adult human brain, which accounts for only 2% of the body's mass, consumes 20% of daily glucose burned, in children, that figure is 50%, and in infants, 60%, this is far more than expected for their relative brain sizes, which scale in proportion to body size, Human ones weigh 1.5 kilograms, elephant brains 5 kg, and whale brains 9 kg, yet on a per-weight basis, humans pack in more neurons than any other species, this dense packing is what makes us so smart, there is a trade-off between body size and the number of neurons a primate, including us, can sustain, a 25 kg ape has to eat 8 hours a day to uphold a brain with 53 billion neurons, the invention of cooking, one and half million years ago, gave us a huge advantage, cooked food is rendered soft and

predigested outside the body, our guts more easily absorb their energy, cooking frees up time and provides more energy than if we ate foodstuffs raw, so we can sustain brains with 86 billion densely packed neurons, 40% more than the ape, here's how it works, half the calories a brain burns towards simply keeping the structure intact by pumping sodium and potassium ions across membranes to maintain an electrical charge, to do this, the brain has to be an energy hog, it consumes an astounding 3.4 x 10^21 ATP molecules per minute, ATP being the coal of the body's furnace, the high cost of maintaining the resting potentials in all 86 billion neurons means that little energy is left to propel signals down axons and across synapses.

The nerve discharges that get things done, even if only a tiny percentage of neurons fired in a given region at one time, the energy burden generating spikes over the entire brain, would be unsustainable, here's where energy efficiency comes in, letting just a little proportion of cells signal at one time, known as sparse coding, uses the least energy but carries the most information because the small number of signals have thousands of possible paths by which to distribute themselves, a drawback of sparse coding within a large number of neurons it cost worse, if a large proportion of cells never fire, then they are superfluous and evolution should have jettisoned them long ago.
The solution is to find the optimum proportion of cells that the brain can have active at once, for maximum efficiency, between 1 % and 16 % of cells should be active at any given moment, this is the energy limit we have to live within order to be conscious at all, the need to conserve resources is the reason most of the brain's operations must happen outside of consciousness.

It's why multitasking is a fool's errand, we simply lack the energy to do two things at once, let alone three or five, when we try, we do each task less well than if we had given it our full attention, the numbers are against us, your brain is already smart and powerful, so powerful that it needs a lot of power to stay powerful, and so smart that it has built-in an energy-efficiency plan, so don't let a fraudulent myth make you guilty about your supposedly lazy brain, guilt would be a waste of energy, after all, this, don't you realize it's dumb to waste mental energy? You have billions of power-hungry neurons to maintain.

How to change a life? What is the true meaning of Wisdom? What is the characteristic of wisdom? The real meaning of Success- Quotes of MARK TWAIN

The two most important days in your life are the day you are born, and the day you find out why; Never argue with stupid people, they will drag you down to their level and then beat you with experience; If you tell the truth, you don't have to remember anything, the truth must be served as a coat, and not thrown in the face like a wet towel.

Let us live so that when we come to die even the undertaker will be sorry; Everyone is a moon, and has a dark side which he never shows to anybody; Only two things we'll regret on the deathbed, that we are a little loved and little traveled; Keep away from people who try to be little your ambitions, small people always do that, but the great make you feel that you, too, can become great; Man will do many things to get himself loved, he will do all things to get himself envied; Wrinkles should merely indicate where the smiles have been; If you pick up a starving dog and make him prosperous he will not bite you, this is the principal difference between a dog and man; I am an old man and have known a great many troubles, but most of them never happened; Courage is resistance to fear, mastery of fear-not absence of fear; Kindness is a language which the deaf can hear, and the blind can see; All you need in this life is ignorance and confidence, then success is sure.

The man who does not read has no advantage over the man who cannot read; Forgiveness is the fragrance that the violet sheds on the heel that has crushed it; A banker is a fellow who lends you his umbrella when the sun is shining but wants it back the minute it begins to rain; The fear of death follows from the fear of life, a man who lives fully is prepared to die at any time; To get the full value of joy you must have someone to divide it with; Anger is an acid that can do more harm to the vessel in which it is stored than to anything on which it is poured; The human race has only one effective weapon and that is laughter.

When I was a boy of 14, my father was so ignorant I could hardly stand to have the old man around, but when I got to be 21, I was astonished at how much the old man had learned in seven years; Eat a live frog first thing in the morning and nothing worse will happen to you the rest of the day; Never argue with a fool, onlookers may not be able to tell the difference; When I was younger, I could remember anything, whether it had happened or not, but my faculties are decaying now, and soon I shall be, so I cannot remember any but the things that never happened, it is sad to go to pieces like this, but we all have to do it; Noise proves nothing, often a hen who has laid egg cackles as if she had laid an asteroid; Do something every day that you don't want to do, this is the golden rule for acquiring the habit of doing your duty without pain.

Honesty, the best of all the lost arts; Be careful about reading health books, you may die of a misprint; Loyalty to country ALWAYS, Loyalty to government, when it deserves it; Buy land, they're not making it anymore; A person with a new idea is a crank until the idea succeeds; The lack of money is the root of all evil; Giving up smoking is the easiest thing in the world, I know because I've done it thousands of times; When your friends begin to flatter you on how young you look, it's a sure sign you're getting old.
