What are the thoughts of Princess Diana? What does Princess of Wales Lady Diana's quotes say about men, women, and life?

Princess of Whale Lady Diana is humble, kind, very elegant, warm, compassionate, generous, self-disciplined, a sincere woman who loves humanity, her last words, words of wisdom, and excerpts from her speeches and diaries.

Men lie less than women except when they talk about their feelings: The greatest problem in the world today is intolerance everyone is so intolerant of each other: Carry out a random act of kindness with no expectation of reward safe in the knowledge that one day someone might do the same for you: Where there is a marriage without love there will be love without marriage: Only do what your heart tells you: Being a princess isn't all that it's cracked up to be: Every one of us needs to show how much we care for each other and in the process care for ourselves: You can't comfort the afflicted without afflicting the comfortable: Nothing brings me more happiness than trying to help the most vulnerable people in society it is a good and essential part of my life a kind of destiny: A mother's arms are more comforting than anyone else's: To cheat on a loved one means to cheat on oneself: People think that at the end of the day a man is the only answer actually a fulfilling job is better for me: If you find someone you love in your life then hang on to them: If men had to have babies they would only ever have one each: If you find someone you love in your life then grab to that love: You cannot replace a slender figure with any beautiful necklace long legs are always more attractive than an expensive dress:

I conjure all the men of the world if you want to be loved and respected by your wives do not forget that their main protectors are you: When you are happy you can forgive a lot: A woman confesses to treason when she loves because she wants to be honest and a man will never forgive because he also loves: Experience is invaluable not only because thanks to it, we learn something new, but also because it makes us reconsider our past: When someone cheats on you, it is better to be in the dark but if the blindfold is already torn off your eyes it is preferable to see clearly than unclear: The philosophical mindset is the art of enduring the misfortunes of others: Before proposing to make sure that your chosen one doesn't have rainbow glasses on and that she sees everything in its true light otherwise the most sincere love can bring trouble: The thing women like the most in bed is breakfast: A bullet can whistle past and treason is always right in the heart:

How to start over and rebuild your life from scratch? 7 Priceless Tips to help you start over again in life

Things happen, and sometimes, life will force you to start over from scratch, instead of freaking out, you can view the experience as something that will help you become the person you are destined to be. It’s another chance to be happy, go over 7 things to help you start over again, and make the process easier.

How to start over and rebuild your life from scratch? 7 Priceless Tips to help you start over again in life

One! Realize people won’t care as much as you think. One of the biggest reasons why some people are afraid of starting over to live a better life is because of other people’s opinions. When you start over in life, you will be leaving your comfort zone. You might worry about what your friends and family think about you starting over. The truth is that most people don’t care that much about you. Most people will be thinking about themselves and their shortcomings instead of judging you. If you can stop worrying about what other people think, starting over again will be much easier.

Two! Accept the past and let go of it, it’s hard to start over again if you are fixated on the past, whatever happened back then happened already, you can’t change what happened in the past, and you should focus on the future instead, you need to decide to let go since things don’t happen on their own, acceptance isn’t as hard as you think since it means that you acknowledge it has happened, and you are ready to move on from it, focus your energy on creating your dream life instead of worrying about the past and starting over again will feel better.

How to start over and rebuild your life from scratch? 7 Priceless Tips to help you start over again in life

Three! Start with the end goal in mind, when you are starting over, you need to know what to change and what kind of new life you want to create, without the end goal in mind, you will be lost, think of what you want in your new life and find out which parts you need to change in your old life to get where you want, maybe you are starting over and switching careers, so you need to learn the skills needed to make the switch, with the end goal in mind, you can have the plan to get there.

Four! Detach yourself from the outcome, this point might not make sense especially since the previous tip was to start with the end goal in mind but keep watching, sometimes we can’t get what we want, when you focus only on trying to succeed, it won’t be sustainable, and it doesn’t work at the highest level, if you only focus on the result, you will get lost on the way and lose sight of the underlying mission, take Gary Vaynerchuk for example, one of his goals is to buy the New York Jets, he doesn’t care much about the outcome, but he enjoys the journey so much, and it makes him happy, learn to let go of your ideas on what is supposed to happen because things don’t always go your way, focusing on the journey instead of the outcome will make you happier and help make starting over again easier.

How to start over and rebuild your life from scratch? 7 Priceless Tips to help you start over again in life

Five! Let go of your limiting beliefs and excuses, your limiting beliefs will stop you from taking the action you need, to get rid of your limitations, you have to take a step back and see what they are limitations are things that keep you trapped in a loop, they define the quality of your life, of course, some limiting beliefs are true, and they do have a positive impact on your life, for example, a 30-year-old man who hasn’t played basketball before will have a belief that he won’t get into the NBA, this is true, and the belief tells him that he shouldn’t spend his time trying to get good at basketball unless it’s a hobby he enjoys, however, most of our limiting beliefs are false, and you should ask yourself where did it come from and if it is true, after that, you can replace that belief with something not limiting, if you want to start over and improve your life, you have to get rid of those limiting beliefs.

Six! Trust your intuition, when you start over, there are so many things you can do, maybe you should follow your passion, or maybe you should do something safe and secure like what a lot of people in society do, instead of doing what the voices around you say, you need to trust your gut, do what you want to do to create the life you want, trust yourself because you know more than you think you do.

Seven! Prepare for failure, when you are starting over and creating a new life, there will be times when you will fail, you might want to revert to your old life since your new plan isn’t working, but you want to avoid that, you want to make a plan for failure, so you don’t revert to your old life, everyone will have different ways to deal with this, but I recommend practicing gratitude if you can be more grateful for your new life and new opportunity, you will be less likely to revert.

Conclusion! Starting over in life can be scary, but it doesn’t have to be, pick a few of the tips mentioned above and follow them, starting over is a great opportunity to be someone better, even if it doesn’t feel that way at the moment, did you ever have to start over in life? How Ice Ages Happen? How does Sunlight affect Earth? What is The Milankovitch Cycle? How long will it be until the next Ice age?

How Ice Ages Happen? How does Sunlight affect Earth? What is The Milankovitch Cycle? How long will it be until the next Ice age?

Over Earth's long history, there have been dramatic changes to our climate, The ice ages have come and gone, and what's surprising is that there's a strong pattern that explains why Ice Ages happen when they do, this is called the Milankovitch cycle, named after Milutin Milankovitch, his theory explains how the earth's climate changes over hundreds of thousands of years, his theory is based on two key ideas:

First, the Earth's climate is strongly affected by how much sunlight the northern latitudes receive during the summer, Second, this amount of sunlight varies based on changes in the Earth's orbit and rotation.

How Ice Ages Happen? How does Sunlight affect Earth? What is The Milankovitch Cycle? How long will it be until the next Ice age?

Why are the northern latitudes so important? It's because of ice, when sunlight hits the ground, most of the energy is absorbed as heat, but if the ground is covered in ice, most of the light reflects away because ice is white, which creates a positive feedback loop, Ice forms when it's cold, but ice also reflects light, making it colder which forms more ice, so ice is really important for climate, the northern and southern hemispheres both contain lots of ice, but there's more ice in the north because there's more land, land has a lower heat capacity than water which means that water doesn't change temperature as easily as land does this is why coastal regions are generally milder, and why ice forms more easily on land, just look at the difference between the northern and southern hemispheres, in the south, there are ice caps that grow during its winter but not nearly as much as they do in the north, during the winter the land above the Arctic Circle is covered in darkness experiencing twilight 24 hours a day, it's very cold and lots of ice forms during the winter, and this is true no matter what's going on with Earth's orbit, the key variable here is how much ice melts during the summer, this depends on how much sunlight there is during the summer, now you might think, that this doesn't change, but it does.

https://mharoonpasha.blogspot.com/2022/01/how-ice-ages-happen-how-the-sunlight-effect-on-earth-what-is-the-milankovitch-cycles.html
How Ice Ages Happen? How does Sunlight affect Earth? What is The Milankovitch Cycle? How long will it be until the next Ice age?

Milankovic showed that over hundreds of thousands of years, the amount of summer sunlight can shift plus or minus 15%, which can bring ice ages, this can end ice ages, how can the amount of summer sunlight be change? First, the distance from the earth to the Sun is changing, and second, the earth's tilt is changing, the Earth's axis is currently tilted at 23.5 degrees, but this changes, as other objects influence the earth gravitationally nudging its tilt up and down, every 41,000 years, it cycles up and down, when the earth is more tilted there's more sunlight during the summer, more summer sunlight means that more of our ice melts away, with less ice on the ground less light is reflected away giving us a warmer climate, the earth is unusual in that its tilt doesn't change very much, earth has a very large moon which stabilizes its tilt.

Mars has two tiny moons and so its tilt changes much more dramatically, the next effect is the distance from the earth to the Sun, the Earth's orbit is not a circle it's an ellipse, every fourth of July, we celebrate aphelion: the day that the earth is farthest from the sun, then in January the earth moves closest to the Sun, now the planets Jupiter and Saturn both nudge the earth causing its orbit to shift slightly becoming either more oval or more circular, this happens over 100,000 years, this effect is wildly exaggerated in this diagram, It actually looks more like this, you can barely even see that the distance to the Sun is changing, but this subtle change has important consequences for our climate.

https://mharoonpasha.blogspot.com/2022/01/how-ice-ages-happen-how-the-sunlight-effect-on-earth-what-is-the-milankovitch-cycles.html
How Ice Ages Happen? How does Sunlight affect Earth? What is The Milankovitch Cycle? How long will it be until the next Ice age?

Earth as a whole receives 6% more sunlight during January than it does in July, the seasons change because the North Pole sometimes tilts towards the Sun and sometimes tilts away, the change in the distance to the Sun, works against the change in the seasons, this moderates the seasons in the North since the earth is the farthest away in July, but this was not always true, the Earth's axis is moving in a circle, it's spinning like atop, this is called precession, in fact, and what this means is that 13,000 years ago the tilt of the earth was reversed, when the earth was closest to the Sun, it was summer in the North, the distance change didn't oppose the seasons, it amplified seasons making them more extreme, now warmer summer means more melting, more melting means less reflection which means the climate as a whole is warmer, the amount of summer sunlight is affected by three long-term cycles:

How Ice Ages Happen? How does Sunlight affect Earth? What is The Milankovitch Cycle? How long will it be until the next Ice age?

One changes the tilt, one makes our orbit more circular or more oval, and one changes how the distance to the Sun matches with the changing of the seasons, these three cycles powerfully impact our climate, scientists have measured the history of our climate using ice cores, now Earth's climate is complicated, you can't just reduce it to a single input but the Milankovitch cycles have played a key role in our climate for hundreds of thousands of years, for more astronomical.

How to reset our behavior? Which is the correct behavior? How to reduce anxiety, depression, and physical pain- Dr. Anna Lembke

How to reset our behavior? Which is the correct behavior? How to reduce anxiety, depression, and physical pain- Dr. Anna Lembke

The richest countries in the world are the countries that have the most suicide, anxiety, depression, and physical pain; the more we have a good life, lots of food, lots of fun stuff, and lots of medicines, to protect us from illness and pain, we've clearly reached some kind of tipping point we're now essentially more miserable than ever and the question is why?

The Social Dilemma! Your solution to this modern problem, and it's a modern problem that we all have is to one of the most findings in Neuroscience in the last hundred years is that pleasure and pain are co-located by which, that the same parts of the brain that process pleasure also process pain, and they work like opposite sides of the balance so when we do something that's pleasurable or reinforcing or rewarding that balance tips to the side of pleasure when we experience something painful like cutting our finger it tips to the side of pain but one of the overarching rules governing this balance is that it wants to remain level it doesn't want to be tipped for very long either to pleasure or pain and the brain will work very hard to restore a level balance or what neuroscientists call homeostasis it's really a biological imperative not just in our own physiologic symptoms but in the universe to go to homeostasis and that any deviation from neutrality is actually a form of stress in fact biologists define stress as a deviation in either direction and that's really the key the problem with modern life and one of the main problems with modern life is that we have too many pleasurable substances and behaviors and that is actually stressing us out it's literally stressful.

How to reset our behavior? Which is the correct behavior? How to reduce anxiety, depression, and physical pain- Dr. Anna Lembke

So, when we do something just obviously pleasurable like having a beer or playing a video game or eating a piece of chocolate it depends on who you are because people are different but in general those things are pleasurable to many people what we do is we get a little tilt to the pleasure side, and we get the release of dopamine in our brains reward pathway which is this evolutionarily phylogenetically conserved very old part of the brain that's been unchanged in our brains for just millennia and is also identical in other species all the way down to the lizard which is why it's sometimes called the lizard brain, our evolution meant that we've piled a bunch of other layers on top but that part is exactly the same as it's always been, and it's the part that gets us again to approach pleasure and avoid pain but here's really the key the way that the brain restores a level balance or homeostasis after this deviation to the pleasure side is to not just bring it level again but tilt it in equal and opposite amount to the side of pain and that's called the opponent process reaction and sort of thing that is these little gremlins that represent neuro
adaptation hopping on the pain side of the balance, but they like it on the balance, so they stay on until it's tipped and equal and opposite amount, that moment of wanting just one more video game, another beer another piece of chocolate now if we wait a little because it's a powerful physiologic drive to reach for more if we wait the gremlins hop off that feeling passes and homeostasis is restored, and we want homeostasis to be restored it's really important because it's fundamental to the resilience of this system because when the system is at baseline homeostasis it's sensitive right it senses new pleasures it's aware of potential dangers and painful things, so we know to avoid them but let's look at what happens if we instead of waiting for those gremlins to hop off instead immediately reach for another beer another piece of chocolate another video game another major rule of this balance is that with repeated exposure to the same or similar stimuli that initial response gets weaker and shorter, and the after response gets stronger and longer so, that as sort of Arnold Schwarzenegger type gremlin hopping on the pain side to bring it balance again, so we need stronger gremlins right and essentially what's happening in the brain.

https://mharoonpasha.blogspot.com/2022/01/how-to-reset-our-behavior-how-to-reduced-anxiety-depression-and-physical-pain-dr-anna-lembke.html
How to reset our behavior? Which is the correct behavior? How to reduce anxiety, depression, and physical pain- Dr. Anna Lembke

These Neuro adaptation gremlins is that we're down regulating our own dopamine transmission we're taking our dopamine receptors that are on the outside of our Neurons, and we're resorting them into the Neuron all of which is a way to accommodate this huge increased bolus in dopamine but again what ends up happening is now that opponent process reaction is stronger and longer, so we go from shorter and weaker to stronger and longer on the pain side of the balance and that is the fundamental sort of paradox or vicious cycle that we get into especially when we're living in a world in which we have nearly universal ubiquitous access to highly potent highly reinforcing drugs and behaviors which don't just release a little of dopamine but a whole huge bolus, and we're all surrounded by them all the time every day and over time what that means is that we're bombarding our dopamine reward pathway with way more dopamine than our primitive brains can handle, and the result is that we end up with enough gremlins on the pain side of the balance to fill this whole room, and they are now camped out there and that's called Allostasis, so we've gone from Homeostasis to allostasis and allostasis is where our body has to accommodate and work very hard to try to restore Homeostasis.

https://mharoonpasha.blogspot.com/2022/01/how-to-reset-our-behavior-how-to-reduced-anxiety-depression-and-physical-pain-dr-anna-lembke.html
How to reset our behavior? Which is the correct behavior? How to reduce anxiety, depression, and physical pain- Dr. Anna Lembke

If it's unable to do that using the normal mechanisms it essentially changes our set point, so now we've got those gremlins camped out there they're not leaving even when we wait a while they're camped out there our balance it's easier to tip it to the side of pain, and it's really hard now to experience pleasure and when we're not using we're in a state of anxiety universal symptoms of withdrawal from any addictive substance anxiety irritability insomnia dysphoria and craving for our drug this is the fundamental problem if you look at rates of depression and anxiety all over the world today they are going up skyrocketing suicide rates too also physical pain the richest countries in the world are the countries that have the most suicide anxiety depression and physical pain and this is by different measures many survey measures many types of studies, so clearly we have something very strange going on here where the more we have of the kinds of you know ideal things that we think would make a good life right lots of food lots of fun stuff lots of medicines to protect us from you know illness and pain we've clearly reached some kind of tipping point we're now essentially more miserable than ever and the question is why, that the pleasure pain balance explains that because our primitive brains were not wired for an easy hyper convenient world we are suffering as a result of all of this access to these feel good things the first thing that we need to do is to cut out all of these feel-good substances and behaviors at least for long enough for essentially dopamine fasting right and whatever your source of dopamine is to cut it out for long enough now in clinical experience, have patients who come in seeking help for anxiety depression insomnia and the first thing that will typically do is to have them cut out their feel good drugs and behaviors we are hardwired to approach pleasure and avoid pain and that's really at the heart of our dopamine reward system dopamine is not just about the reward it's also about the wanting and the motivation, and its relative dopamine, so it's whether our dopamine is above or below tonic baseline that really is at the heart of this motivational cycle.

What percentage of your brain do you use? How much the Human Brain is smart and powerful? How does the Brain Work? Richard E Cytowic

An enduring myth says we use only 10% of our brain, the other 90% standing idly by for spare capacity, Hucksters promised to unlock that hidden potential with methods "based on neuroscience," but all they unlock is your wallet.

Two-thirds of the public and nearly half of the science teachers mistakenly believe the 10% myth, in the 1890s, William James, the father of American psychology, said, "Most of us do not meet our mental potential," James meant this as a challenge, not an indictment of scant brain usage, but the misunderstanding stuck, also, scientists couldn't figure out the purpose of our massive frontal lobes in broad areas of the parietal lobe for a long time, The damage didn't cause motor or sensory deficits, so authorities concluded they didn't do anything, for decades, these parts were called silent areas, their function elusive, we've since learned that they underscore, executive, and integrative ability, without which, we would hardly be human, they are crucial to abstract reasoning, planning, weighing decisions, and flexibly adapting to circumstances, the idea that 9/10 of your brain sits idly by in your skull looks silly when we calculate how the brain uses energy.

Rodent and canine brains consume 5% of total body energy, monkey brains use 10%, and an adult human brain, which accounts for only 2% of the body's mass, consumes 20% of daily glucose burned, in children, that figure is 50%, and in infants, 60%, this is far more than expected for their relative brain sizes, which scale in proportion to body size, Human ones weigh 1.5 kilograms, elephant brains 5 kg, and whale brains 9 kg, yet on a per-weight basis, humans pack in more neurons than any other species, this dense packing is what makes us so smart, there is a trade-off between body size and the number of neurons a primate, including us, can sustain, a 25 kg ape has to eat 8 hours a day to uphold a brain with 53 billion neurons, the invention of cooking, one and half million years ago, gave us a huge advantage, cooked food is rendered soft and

predigested outside the body, our guts more easily absorb their energy, cooking frees up time and provides more energy than if we ate foodstuffs raw, so we can sustain brains with 86 billion densely packed neurons, 40% more than the ape, here's how it works, half the calories a brain burns towards simply keeping the structure intact by pumping sodium and potassium ions across membranes to maintain an electrical charge, to do this, the brain has to be an energy hog, it consumes an astounding 3.4 x 10^21 ATP molecules per minute, ATP being the coal of the body's furnace, the high cost of maintaining the resting potentials in all 86 billion neurons means that little energy is left to propel signals down axons and across synapses.

https://mharoonpasha.blogspot.com/2022/01/what-percentage-of-your-brain-do-you-use-how-much-the-human-brain-is-smart-and-powerful-richard-e-cytowic.html
What percentage of your brain do you use? How much the Human Brain is smart and powerful? How does the Brain Work? Richard E Cytowic

The nerve discharges that get things done, even if only a tiny percentage of neurons fired in a given region at one time, the energy burden generating spikes over the entire brain, would be unsustainable, here's where energy efficiency comes in, letting just a little proportion of cells signal at one time, known as sparse coding, uses the least energy but carries the most information because the small number of signals have thousands of possible paths by which to distribute themselves, a drawback of sparse coding within a large number of neurons it cost worse, if a large proportion of cells never fire, then they are superfluous and evolution should have jettisoned them long ago.
The solution is to find the optimum proportion of cells that the brain can have active at once, for maximum efficiency, between 1 % and 16 % of cells should be active at any given moment, this is the energy limit we have to live within order to be conscious at all, the need to conserve resources is the reason most of the brain's operations must happen outside of consciousness.

https://mharoonpasha.blogspot.com/2022/01/what-percentage-of-your-brain-do-you-use-how-much-the-human-brain-is-smart-and-powerful-richard-e-cytowic.html
What percentage of your brain do you use? How much the Human Brain is smart and powerful? How does the Brain Work? Richard E Cytowic

It's why multitasking is a fool's errand, we simply lack the energy to do two things at once, let alone three or five, when we try, we do each task less well than if we had given it our full attention, the numbers are against us, your brain is already smart and powerful, so powerful that it needs a lot of power to stay powerful, and so smart that it has built-in an energy-efficiency plan, so don't let a fraudulent myth make you guilty about your supposedly lazy brain, guilt would be a waste of energy, after all, this, don't you realize it's dumb to waste mental energy? You have billions of power-hungry neurons to maintain.

The two most important days in your life are the day you are born, and the day you find out why; Never argue with stupid people, they will drag you down to their level and then beat you with experience; If you tell the truth, you don't have to remember anything, the truth must be served as a coat, and not thrown in the face like a wet towel.

Let us live so that when we come to die even the undertaker will be sorry; Everyone is a moon, and has a dark side which he never shows to anybody; Only two things we'll regret on the deathbed, that we are a little loved and little traveled; Keep away from people who try to be little your ambitions, small people always do that, but the great make you feel that you, too, can become great; Man will do many things to get himself loved, he will do all things to get himself envied; Wrinkles should merely indicate where the smiles have been; If you pick up a starving dog and make him prosperous he will not bite you, this is the principal difference between a dog and man; I am an old man and have known a great many troubles, but most of them never happened; Courage is resistance to fear, mastery of fear-not absence of fear; Kindness is a language which the deaf can hear, and the blind can see; All you need in this life is ignorance and confidence, then success is sure.

The man who does not read has no advantage over the man who cannot read; Forgiveness is the fragrance that the violet sheds on the heel that has crushed it; A banker is a fellow who lends you his umbrella when the sun is shining but wants it back the minute it begins to rain; The fear of death follows from the fear of life, a man who lives fully is prepared to die at any time; To get the full value of joy you must have someone to divide it with; Anger is an acid that can do more harm to the vessel in which it is stored than to anything on which it is poured; The human race has only one effective weapon and that is laughter.

When I was a boy of 14, my father was so ignorant I could hardly stand to have the old man around, but when I got to be 21, I was astonished at how much the old man had learned in seven years; Eat a live frog first thing in the morning and nothing worse will happen to you the rest of the day; Never argue with a fool, onlookers may not be able to tell the difference; When I was younger, I could remember anything, whether it had happened or not, but my faculties are decaying now, and soon I shall be, so I cannot remember any but the things that never happened, it is sad to go to pieces like this, but we all have to do it; Noise proves nothing, often a hen who has laid egg cackles as if she had laid an asteroid; Do something every day that you don't want to do, this is the golden rule for acquiring the habit of doing your duty without pain.

Honesty, the best of all the lost arts; Be careful about reading health books, you may die of a misprint; Loyalty to country ALWAYS, Loyalty to government, when it deserves it; Buy land, they're not making it anymore; A person with a new idea is a crank until the idea succeeds; The lack of money is the root of all evil; Giving up smoking is the easiest thing in the world, I know because I've done it thousands of times; When your friends begin to flatter you on how young you look, it's a sure sign you're getting old.

How does the earth move around the sun? How many directions is the earth moving? How does the Occurrence of change of day, night, and seasons?

How does the earth move around the sun? How many directions is the earth moving? How does the Occurrence of change of day, night, and seasons?

A year on earth is measured by one complete trip around the Sun seems simple enough, but there is a problem the earth doesn't travel on a path around the Sun that returns to its starting point so how do we know when a year starts or ends, well one was called a Siberia year measures our orbit against the distant stars as viewed from the earth our orbit causes the Sun to appear to move through the constellations of the zodiac on a path called the ecliptic and when the Sun returns to its starting point a year has passed, this motion is difficult to observe directly because the Stars cannot be seen when the Sun is in the sky however if you look at the sky before its dawn the annual motion is very noticeable the last stars seem to rise are not always the same.

Within a week or two an upward shift can be noted as example in July in the Northern Hemisphere Orion cannot be seen in the dawn sky but in August it becomes easily visible measuring a year this way gives a period that is 365 days 6 hours 9 minutes and10 seconds long another possibility is to measure the year against the passing of the seasons because of the tilt of the Earth on its axis the position of the Sun in the sky changes from day to day throughout the year if we were to take a picture of the Sun at noon regularly throughout the year we would see the Sun moving on this path called an Ana-lemma on the days in its orbit when the earth is at a maximum tilt towards or away from the Sun the length of the daylight is at a maximum or a minimum.

These days are called solstices and the Sun will be at the top-level or bottom right of the Ana-lemma on the days when the earth's tilt is perfectly sideways to the Sun the day-night are equal in length these are the equinoxes and the Sun will be at this crossover position in the Ana-lemma when the Sun goes from one vernal equinox to the next a tropical year has passed measuring this way gives a year that is 365 days 5 hours 48 minutes and46 seconds along the length of a year on earth is affected by several gradual and cyclical changes in its orbit and its tilt first there is the precession of the Earth's axis over about 26,000 years the Earth's axis traces out a circle in the sky one result of this is that the North Star changes overtime right now the Earth's axis points towards Polaris five thousand years ago the axis pointed to a star in the constellation Draco and twelve thousand years ago.

The brilliant star Vega was the pole star and because of the twenty-six thousand year cycle Vega will be the pole star again and fourteen thousand years the precession of the equinoxes is caused primarily by gravitational forces of the Sun in the moon acting on the earth while the axial tilt is a primary cause of seasons on the earth the distance from the Sun which changes throughout the year because of the elliptical shape of the Earth's orbit contribute to small bit of temperature variations throughout the year as well when the axis is aligned, so it points towards the Sun during perihelion one hemisphere will have a greater difference between the seasons while the other hemisphere will have milder seasons the hemisphere which is in summer at perihelion will receive much of the corresponding entries in solar radiation, but that same hemisphere will be in winner at aphelion and have a colder winner the other hemisphere will have a relatively warmer winter and cooler summer when the Earth's axis is aligned such that aphelion and perihelion occurred near the equinoxes the northern, and Southern Hemisphere will have similar contrast in the seasons at present perihelion occurs during the southern Hemispheres summer and aphelion is reached during the southern winter, so the Southern Hemisphere seasons are somewhat more extreme than the Northern Hemisphere seasons when other factors are equal in addition the gravitational effects of other planets caused the ellipse of our orbit to slowly spin around the Sun it takes about 112 thousand years for the ellipse to revolve once relative to fixed stars when considered together but two forms of precession ad, and it takes about 21,000 years for the Solstice to go from aphelion to aphelion the dates of the perihelion and the aphelion advance each year on this cycle an average of one day for 58 years the eccentricity of the Earth's orbit is a measure of how round or how oval the orbits shape is over thousands of years the eccentricity of the Earth's orbit varies as a result of gravitational attractions among the planets primarily Jupiter and Saturn the orbital eccentricity cycles with a period of roughly 100,000 years as the eccentricity of the orbit involves.

The semi-major axis of the orbital ellipse remains unchanged, so the length of the sidereal year remains unchanged as the earth travels in its orbit the duration of seasons depends on the eccentricity of the orbit when the orbital eccentricity is extreme the seasons that occur on the far side of the orbit are substantially longer duration in addition to axial precession there's the axial tilt the angle the Earth's rotational axis makes with its orbital plane it is currently about twenty-three point four degrees and is declining this tilt varies from twenty-two point one degree to twenty-four point five degrees it makes one complete tilt and back every forty-one thousand years this change in tilt is directly related to ice ages on earth the last maximum tilt occurred in 8700 BC and the next minimum tilt will happen 11800 ad the inclination of Earth's orbit drifts up and down relative to the present orbit with the cycle having a period of about 70,000 years and the orbit also moves relative to the orbits of other planets as well by calculating the plane of unchanged total angular momentum of the solar system we can define the orbital plane called the invariable plane it is approximately the orbit alp lane of Jupiter the inclination of the Earth's orbit has a 100 thousand year cycle relative to the invariable plane this 100 thousand year cycle closely matches the 100 thousand year pattern of ice ages a year on earth is directly determined by all the various orbital motions of the earth so if someone tells you how many years old they are you might ask them is that side aerial tropical.

How to spend your youth without remorse in old age? What does Plato say about life?

Being kind to everyone you meet is fighting a harder battle; Every heart sings a song incomplete until another heart whispers back; We can easily forgive a child who is afraid of the dark the real tragedy of life is when men are afraid of the light; only the dead have seen the end of War; The heaviest penalty for declining to rule is to be ruled by someone inferior to yourself; I am the wisest man alive for I know one thing and that is that I know nothing.

Never discourage anyone who continually makes progress no matter how slow; Nothing can harm a good person neither in life nor after death; Love is a serious mental disease; One of the penalties of refusing to participate in politics is that you end up being governed by your inferiors; Good people do not need laws to tell them to act responsibly while bad people will find a way around the laws; The measure of a man is what he does with power; Ignorance is the root and stem of every evil; There is truth in wine and children; Those who tell the stories rule society; Human behavior flows from three main sources desire, emotion, and knowledge; Education is teaching our children to desire the right things; There are three classes of men, lovers of wisdom, lovers of honor, and lovers of gain; Courage knows what not to fear; The best family is when the wife is blind and the husband is deaf; You should not honor men more than truth; Treat your parents as you would like your children to treat you; When men speak ill of thee live so as nobody may believe them; An empty vessel makes the loudest sound, so those that have the least wit are the greatest babblers.

The world is boring for boring people; Bad people live to eat and drink virtuous people eat and drink in order to live; People are like dirt, they can either nourish you and help you grow as a person or they can stunt your growth, and make you wilt and die; Good actions give strength to ourselves, and inspire good actions in others; There is in every one of us even those who seem to be most moderate, a type of desire that is terrible, wild, and law less; Poets utter great and wise things which they do not themselves understand; Any man may easily do harm, but not every man can do good to another; False words are not only evil in themselves, but they infect the soul with evil; A dog has the soul of a philosopher; If you were answered with silence this does not mean that you were not answered; Win your friends not with empty flattery but with sincere words of love; The greatest victory is overcoming your negative thinking; Without friendship no communication between people has value; You married a crazy woman if she says you're perfect; When the word does not strike then the stick will not help either; Never forgive a friend who betrayed you once he will betray you again; Drunkenness does not give rise to vices, it reveals them.
